Hudson AquaPacer+ Water Treadmill
The Hudson Aquatic System AquaPacer+ equine water treadmill is a highly effective tool used in rehabilitation, conditioning and performance enhancement. It is specifically designed to offer controlled exercise to horses in a low-impact, buoyant environment, supporting their recovery and overall fitness. The AquaPacer+ provides exercise with reduced strain and impact. The buoyancy of the water alleviates pressure on the horse’s joints, tendons, and ligaments, minimizing the risk of injuries and strain. At the same time, the water’s resistance creates a challenging workout that engages and strengthens the horse’s muscles, promoting overall fitness and endurance.
CTS-Duo Class IV Laser
The CTS-Duo offers the most advanced platform for photobiomodulation treatments. Equine Class IV laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment method that utilizes a therapeutic laser to stimulate healing and reduce pain in horses. The laser emits specific wavelengths of light that are absorbed by the body's cells. When the laser light interacts with the tissues, it promotes various physiological responses at the cellular level, such as increased cellular energy production, reduced inflammation, enhanced circulation, pain reduction, and accelerated tissue repair and regeneration.
Shockwave
Shockwave therapy is a noninvasive therapy that uses sound waves to increases blood flow, increases growth of new blood vessels and increases the production of natural healing factors which all result in improved speed and quality of tendon, ligament, bone and wound healing.
Kraft Horse Walker (Coming Spring 2024!)
The Kraft Horse Walker is an excellent tool for bringing a horse back into work and building their stamina and fitness in a safe and controlled environment. The the speed, direction of travel, and the duration of the session is based on the needs of the horse.
MagnaWave PEMF
Equine MagnaWave PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy is a non-invasive treatment used to promote healing, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being in horses. PEMF therapy involves the use of electromagnetic fields to positively influence the body's cells and tissues. MagnaWave PEMF therapy involves applying pulsed electromagnetic fields to the horse's body through specialized coils or applicators. These electromagnetic fields can penetrate deep into the tissues, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones. The electromagnetic pulses induce small electrical currents in the cells, which can stimulate various cellular processes and physiological responses.
VitaFloor
VitaFloor is a therapeutic vibrating floor system for horses. The benefits of using a VitaFloor for equine rehabiliation are muscle conditioning and recovery, improved circulation, hoof health, relaxation and stress reduction.
Therapeutic Massage
Equine therapeutic massage involves the skilled manipulation of soft tissues, such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia, by a certified equine massage therapist. It is beneficial during the rehabilitation of horses because it aids in preventing muscle atrophy and encourages tissue healing. Massage also improves circulation, supports muscle relaxation, helps reduce pain, enhances flexibility and range of motion and reduces stress.
Chiropractic Treatment
Chiropractic treatment can be beneficial for horses in rehab by addressing musculoskeletal issues, promoting proper alignment, and supporting overall well-being. Chiropractic care for horses involves the skilled manipulation of the horse's spine and joints to restore normal movement and function.
Game Ready Ice Machine
The Game Ready system uses cold therapy and compression simultaneously to help manage pain, reduce swelling and inflammation, increase blood flow and lymphatic drainage, and promote healing in injured tissue.
Activo-Med PEMF Blanket & Leg Wraps
The Activo-Med PEMF blanket is equipped with 14 strategically placed magnetic coils arranged on the left and right of the spine. The coils extend from the neck over the shoulders and elbows to the croup and knees. The PEMF system in combination with the massage modules, promotes blood flow to tissues, relaxes muscles and has a positive effect on the nervous system. The Activo-Med leg wraps are also equipped with PEMF that covers the top down from the outside of the leg then back up the inside of the leg.
Lunging
Rehab lunging is another controlled exercise that is beneficial to getting a horse back into work. The handler can choose the size of the circle, the speed, and the duration of the session based on the needs of the horse. Additional benefits of lunging include observation of the horse’s movement and gait, building stamina and muscle, and improved flexibility and balance.
SURE FOOT Equine Pads
SURE FOOT Equine Pads enhance stability & balance, challenge proprioception & develop intrinsic muscles resulting in better posture & engagement.SURE FOOT Equine Pads tap into the nervous system of the horse, via the hoof, creating new neural pathways. Increased core strength, stability, balance and improved performance are just some of the benefits.
Purposeful Hand-Walking
Purposeful hand-walking involves a conscientious handler leading an engaged and relaxed horse at a controlled pace. Purposeful hand-walking is beneficial to all horses but specifically horses recovering from injury, surgery or stall rest. This type of hand-walking is beneficial to rehab horses because it strategically and gradually re-introduces exercise into their routine, this movement improves circulation and flexibility along with providing mental stimulation and connection with the handler.
EquiBand Pro System
The Equiband Pro System is a specifically designed saddle pad with strategically placed resistance bands that stimulate receptors in the horse’s skin and hair follicles. In response to this stimulation, the abdominal, oblique, sublumbar and deep neck and back muscles are activated. These muscles stabilize the spine, and engage the hindquarters during movement.Use of the Equiband Pro System in rehab work, strengthens the core musculature of the horse, making it easier for the horse to work with optimal posture and engagement.
